About the artist

I am Paula Coronado, a Chilean artist based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

My practice spans tattooing, illustration and graphic design, exploring a single visual language across different media.

Drawing is the starting point. From there, I create images that can find a home on the skin, on clothing, on paper or on any other surface that allows them to be taken elsewhere.

My work is, to a large extent, a process of discovering what I want to express visually and finding new ways to bring it to life.
